At Alma, you can use Link to pay an invoice. Link is a Stripe feature that saves your payment details, allowing you to reuse them on different websites. You only need your email address and phone number to reach your saved card or bank account.
Getting Started
If you have never used Link, you can create an account while you pay for your Alma invoice. If you’ve saved a payment method with Link on another site, you’ll already have an account.
Pay Your Invoice with Link
If you are new to Link
- Open your invoice.
- Select Card or Bank.
- For a card, open the Link section and enter your email address. For a bank account, search for your bank and follow the prompts.
- Enter your phone number and payment details. Link texts you a code to confirm it is you.
- Enter the code.
- Select Pay. You can also choose to enroll in autopay.
If you already have a Link account
- Open your invoice.
- Select Card or Bank.
- If the page already shows your Link account, select Confirm before you continue.
- Enter your email address in the Link section. Link finds your account.
- Enter the code Link texts to your phone.
- Choose the saved payment method you want to use.
- Select Pay. You can also choose to enroll in autopay.
Link Payment Methods in the Alma Portal
Alma never sees your full bank account number. If you enroll in autopay, your settings show Link Payment Method with the Link icon.
- A card shows its last four digits.
- A bank account has no expiration date.
You can switch to a different payment method at any time.
